Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. She's recorded a variety of well-known covers, such as Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that have been widely praised. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry announced her new song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano in her basement, and becoming enthralled by the sounds it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to pursue music solely for pleasure or as a means of growing, but that she should pursue it. For this reason, she began writing original compositions. In addition to Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mother said they could help people not be famous with her work but to make those around them see the importance of their work and how they impact the world. The piano was her first instrument when she was six years old and started creating music when she was nine. This was not known to her family members until she reached the age of fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. The singer says that she simply likes writing music. She believes that music is the best method to experience anything.
